    The National Society has a full-time genealogist position available in the Registrar’s Office.  This unique position offers candidates the opportunity to hone their research skills in early American genealogy, with a focus on Revolutionary War patriots.  Primary responsibilities focus on examining and evaluating lineage-based information provided on DAR membership applications or supplemental applications, and corresponding with prospective members or Chapter Registrar if further documentation is needed.

    The National Society has openings for On-Call Events Coordinators to join the Events and Meetings staff.

    This position acts as the primary point of contact and supervisor for events (such as weddings) held at the DAR. Responsibilities include overseeing event logistics and preparations by working with vendors, (e.g. caterers, event planners) clients and staff; resolving conflicts or problems during the course of the event; ensuring events standards and protocols are upheld, and supervising event cleanup.

    The National Society has a full time opening for a library professional to serve as the main Reference Services Librarian in the DAR Library. 

    The Reference Services Librarian will have the opportunity to provide genealogical reference services to researchers in the DAR Library and contribute their skills in educational programming, development of web-content, and collection development.

    The National Society is seeking a full time Documents Specialist to work in the Data Entry Office of the Registrar—the department charged with reviewing and processing genealogical data for membership.
