    The National Society has a full-time genealogist position available in the Registrar’s Office.  Primary responsibilities focus on examining and evaluating lineage-based information provided on DAR membership applications or supplemental applications, and corresponding with prospective members or Chapter Registrar if further documentation is needed.

    The National Society has a full time opening for a library professional to serve as the main Reference Librarian in the DAR Library.

    The Reference Librarian will have the opportunity to provide genealogical reference services to researchers in the DAR Library and contribute their skills in educational programming, development of web-content, and collection development.

    The successful candidate will also have a genuine passion, interest in and knowledge of genealogical and American historical research, and a genuine desire to share their passion and expertise with others.

    The National Society has a full time opening for an Archivist in the Office of the Historian General. 

    The Archivist will have the opportunity to assist with the full range of archives tasks including accessioning, collections processing, research and reference, and preservation.

    The successful candidate will also have a genuine interest in American history and a willingness to participate in the preparation and installation of exhibits featuring holdings from both the NSDAR Archives and the DAR Americana Collection.

    The National Society has an immediate full-time opportunity for a member services professional with experience working in a high-volume, high-level customer service environment, to join the Membership Services Department of the Office of Organizing Secretary General.  This department is responsible for all member services activities, including processing of annual membership dues.
