TEEN/ADULT:  Are you a DIY-er? Want to expand your skills? Want to tackle quilting but never got around to it? Here’s your chance. We’ll make it easy for you. We want you to be like the makers mentioned in our current exhibition Eye on Elegance: Early Quilts of Maryland and Virginia. Learn quilt basics like appliqué and reverse appliqué. Workshop fee covers all materials, which you get to take home. Participant must be 16 and older. Instructor: Jan Carlson. Visit eyeonelegance.dar.org. Registration begins January 15, 2015.
