Historical Significance:

Admiral Pierre Claude, Marquis DuQuesne, was an officer in the French and Spanish Navies during the Revolutionary War part of which was his service on the Frigate Hermione made famous by General LaFayette. Acknowledgements: The Havana Chapter, NSDAR marked the grave of Admiral Pierre Claude, Marquis DuQuesne in 1930. This chapter disbanded on April 17, 1971.
