Dallas County
Fair Park Historic District
Dallas, TX 75201

Historical Significance:

The Hospitality House built by Continental Oil Company in 1936 for the Texas Centennial. A colonial house, it was deeded to the Jane Douglas Chapter in October 1937. This was one of the original buildings built in the Fair Park Historical District. It is the only American patriotic museum on the property and serves as a point of education to the community and State Fair of Texas attendees each year.

Acknowledgements: The Jane Douglas Chapter, NSDAR owns, operates, maintains, and has docent led tours of this museum. The Chapter is currently restoring the house.
