WASHINGTON, DC - In addition to being a hit with members and prospective members, the “Today’s DAR” video has now received a number of professional accolades. The DAR membership video has been honored with a Communicator Award, two Telly Awards, and two Ava Awards.

The “Today’s DAR” video received the Award of Distinction in the category of Video - Recruitment in the Communicator Awards competition. The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. This year the competition received over 8,500 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world.

The highly respected Telly Awards also recognized the “Today’s DAR” video with Telly Bronze Awards in the Non-Broadcast Productions Film/Video category for Charitable/Not-for-profit Video and for Recruitment Video. The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions.

The DAR video also won the Ava Platinum Award in the Non-Profit Video category and the Gold Award in the Recruitment Video category. The Ava Awards recognizes outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, direction, shooting, and editing of audio-visual materials and programs. The Ava Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP).
