Million Members Celebration

On October 5, 2019, DAR surpassed a total of one million members who have joined the Society since our founding in 1890. We are excited to use this milestone as an opportunity to spotlight the one million women over the past 129 years who make up the heart of our organization and encourage new women to join us in our timeless mission. DAR is a thriving women’s service organization that is active in local communities promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism.
