Honoring Our Nation’s History

As we Celebrate Stars & Stripes Forever through DAR Service and Friendship, we have a very clear path and purpose before us. Our efforts will serve as a foundation as we prepare for our nation’s 250th anniversary celebrations.

  • Celebration Grants will enable chapters in thousands of U.S. cities to honor the men and women who achieved American Independence and celebrate the birth of our nation.
  • Fund approximately 25 meaningful initiatives across the country with an average of $100,000 through grants to further advance the celebration of our nation’s rich history and diversity of experience.
  • Restore and Conserve Memorial Continental Hall, our living monument to our Patriot ancestors. Your contribution to DAR’s “House Beautiful” means all of the essential renovation work to Memorial Continental Hall can be completed as needed, providing a secure home to the vital reference materials and precious artifacts entrusted to DAR’s care.

Your contributions to the President General’s Project will directly support the restoration work being done in Memorial Continental Hall as we prepare our Headquarters Buildings for a grand salute to our nation in celebration of America 250!
