What an inspiring time it is to be a Daughter of the American Revolution! After years of preparation and anticipation, our nation’s 250th anniversary is finally here—and DAR is proudly leading the way.
For this reason, our Administration has selected the theme Our Legacy in Bloom for the President General's Project. This theme encourages each of us to bring the legacy of our Founders into the present with renewed energy and purpose.
Together, we will illuminate the legacy we have inherited—and the future we are shaping—to include:
I am deeply committed to keeping our legacy blooming in these ways and more throughout my Administration and beyond. Of course, this will require a robust culture of philanthropy within our National Society. I hope you will join me in giving generously and joyously to DAR and its many initiatives in the coming months and years.
I am honored to be your President General at this critical time. And I look forward to working with all of you to keep DAR's legacy blooming throughout the America 250 celebration and beyond.
Thank you for your support and your passion for our mission!
