DAR Headquarters, including the DAR Museum and DAR Library, will be closed to the public on Saturday, June 13 
due to street closures and access restrictions connected with an area event. Additionally, street traffic and parking 
in the area will be significantly restricted in the days leading up to and following the weekend events.

Description
The Zebulon Pike Chapter, NSDAR will be participating in the "Salute to Independence" Monument 4th of July Parade, a prominent Tri-Lakes tradition held in downtown Monument, Colorado. Members dressed in patriotic attire will walk the parade route, distributing American flags to children along the way. Following them will be a chapter-designed and constructed float commemorating America250!, paying tribute to the men and women who secured American independence.
