4th of July Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social
In celebration of America250!, the Chief Ignace Chapter, NSDAR, in collaboration with the Conrad Mansion Museum, will host a festive booth on the beautiful mansion grounds. The chapter will distribute more than 200 copies of the U.S. Constitution, generously provided by the Montana Secretary of State’s Office, along with information about the DAR and the Patriots who achieved American independence. Children will receive small American flags and over 100 patriotic treat bags filled with themed toys and DAR coloring books.
Members of the Flathead High School football team will scoop ice cream as a live band performs patriotic music. The SAR will join the celebration, accompanied by their Drum and Fife Corps, and chapter members will dress in period attire to enhance the historic atmosphere.
The chapter will also make a special presentation to Executive Director Mrs. Alicia Conrad, with full details to be revealed during the July 4th celebration.
This event is free. Ice cream and giveaways are limited and while supplies last.
