Members of the John Abston Chapter, NSDAR, and North Texas Sons of the American Revolution Chapters, are hosting a fun and exciting America 250! Colonial Experience for residents and community members at the Pioneer Ridge Senior Living Center. Participants are invited to wear their favorite colonial costume or patriotic attire. The event will feature: a photo booth with a choice of American hats and flags with a patriotic background, Martha Washington's favorite Shrewsbury Cake Cookies and Thomas Jefferson's favorite Colonial Williamsburg Ginger Cookies, give-a-ways, and an opportunity for children to sign a copy of the Declaration of Independence. This event is free and open to the public.
