In celebration of America 250!, the Valley Forge Chapter, NSDAR, invites the public to visit a special educational display featuring the Declaration of Independence at the Wissahickon Valley Public Library throughout the month of May.
Installed by Valley Forge Chapter member Bobbi Riley, PSSDAR Commemorative Events Vice Chair, and Chris Janczuk, the exhibit highlights several reproduced versions of the Declaration of Independence and explores the lives and contributions of Pennsylvania’s nine signers. Visitors will also enjoy historical images of the Second Continental Congress and engaging “fun facts” about the signers, offering a deeper look into the people and events that shaped the founding of the nation.
This educational display provides an opportunity for the community to reflect on the enduring legacy of the Declaration of Independence as America approaches its 250th anniversary.
