The John Kendrick Chapter, NSDAR, is proud to participate in the America 250! Upper Valley Community Celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Alpine Lakes Elementary School sports field, located at 500 Pine Street in Leavenworth, Washington.
This family-friendly, fair-style celebration will feature games and activities for all ages, live entertainment, food and vendor booths, and historical and cultural displays and presentations celebrating the rich heritage of the Upper Valley community. The evening will culminate in a locally tailored light show after dark.
The John Kendrick Chapter will also host a food vendor booth, “Martha Washington’s Apple Pie,” serving slices of apple pie while dressed in DAR aprons and colonial mob caps, adding a touch of colonial charm to the festivities. This free public event will offer complimentary activities and entertainment for all ages. A variety of community organizations will also be on site offering food, merchandise, and other items for purchase.
