Description
The American Revolution Experience will come to Rhode Island this September! The Beacon Pole Hill Chapter, NSDAR, in partnership with the North Smithfield Heritage Association, will welcome visitors to a special Opening Program on September 3 at 4:00 p.m., launching two weeks of educational programming and historical exploration.

Special events throughout the exhibit include a dedicated homeschool day; a Revolutionary War Pension Records program on September 10 at 6:30 p.m.; a moment of silence at noon on September 11; a National Park Service Ranger-led cemetery walk on September 12 at 10:00 a.m.; and a Bell-Ringing and Closing Program on September 17 at 4:00 p.m.

Chapter members will greet guests and share information about DAR and the chapter’s work in historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Located in a historic building adjacent to a historic cemetery, this free exhibit commemorates 250 years of American history and is open to the public.
