Description
In celebration of America 250!, the Covina Chapter, NSDAR will host the American Revolution Experience Traveling Exhibition from August 18–26, 2026, at the Covina Teen Center in Covina, California. Presented in partnership with the American Battlefield Trust, this engaging exhibit brings the story of the Revolutionary War to life through immersive displays, educational materials, and interactive learning opportunities.

Open daily, the exhibition will offer free educational resources for students, teachers, and families, including student activity workbooks, classroom lesson plans, scavenger hunts, and materials focused on patriotism, historical preservation, and the founding of the United States. Visitors may also receive complimentary educational giveaways and enter a daily opportunity drawing for a free book sponsored by the chapter’s literacy promotion efforts.

Opening Day on August 18 will feature local dignitaries, community leaders, and appearances by the Patriot Sisters historical costume group portraying women of the Revolutionary era. Select bilingual (Spanish) materials will be available, and accommodations may be requested to support accessibility.

The event is free and open to the public.
