DAR Headquarters, including the DAR Museum and DAR Library, will be closed to the public on Saturday, June 13 
due to street closures and access restrictions connected with an area event. Additionally, street traffic and parking 
in the area will be significantly restricted in the days leading up to and following the weekend events.

Description
The Kennesaw Mountain Chapter, NSDAR, will celebrate America 250! by participating in the Woodstock, Georgia, Fourth of July celebration. Chapter members will proudly walk in the community parade and host an informational booth during the festivities.

As part of the celebration, members will promote America 250! and share the story of our nation’s founding by distributing patriotic coloring books and bookmarks featuring the Preamble to the Constitution. The chapter looks forward to engaging with the community while honoring the ideals, history, and spirit of American independence. This event is free and open to the public.

The parade begins at Woodstock Elementary School (230 Rope Mill Road) and travels down Rope Mill Road to Main Street. There it heads south on Main Street and ends at Sam's Club just before Highway 92.
