DOI Signer Josiah Bartlett America 250! on Kingston Plains

Dr. Josiah Bartlett, signer of the Declaration of Independence, will be honored on Saturday, July 18th at the festival and ceremony on the Kingston, NH Plains. The Exeter Chapter, NSDAR partners with the Town of Kingston 250th Commission, and the NH Sons of the Revolution. The DAR will host a "Singers Tent" at which attendees may sign the Declaration of Indepence with a feather pen. The day begins at 11am with a festival and picnic on the town green, in front of Josiah Bartlett's home. Ceremonies begin at 2:30 with the dedication of the new flagpole on the Plains, followed by a procession to the nearby cemetery. There will be a wreath-laying ceremony at Bartlett's tomb. Come witness the day. This event is free and open to the public.
