DAR Headquarters, including the DAR Museum and DAR Library, will be closed to the public on Saturday, June 13
due to street closures and access restrictions connected with an area event. Additionally, street traffic and parking
in the area will be significantly restricted in the days leading up to and following the weekend events.

The Matilda Polk Campbell Chapter, NSDAR, will distribute patriotic flag-decorated fans during the Celebration of Freedom on July 4, 2026, at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. Sponsored annually by the Bolivar Rotary Club, this beloved community event features local musicians, vendors, a program honoring veterans, and an evening fireworks display. In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, this year’s fireworks are rumored to be especially spectacular! On a warm summer evening in southwest Missouri, these festive fans are sure to be a welcome treat for attendees as they celebrate freedom, community, and our nation’s enduring spirit! Event is free and open to the public.
