The 100 year old DAR Library lay light at DAR Headquarters has become seriously deteriorated and requires an extensive and immediate restoration. This webpage provides information and updates, along with photos and videos, to keep the membership and public abreast of the DAR Library Lay Light Restoration Campaign.

The DAR was honored to be presented with an Award of Excellence for design and constrution in Historic Preservation by the District of Columbia Historic Preservation Office/Office of Planning for the DAR Library lay light restoration project.
