This program is part of our American 250 celebration, commemorating the birthday of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
Dr. Amy Noel Ellison is Curator and Director of Exhibitions at the Los Altos History Museum. She previously held curatorial and research positions at the American Philosophical Society, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Museum of the American Revolution. Amy holds a BA in History from Fresno State and a PhD in History from Boston University, specializing in Early American History. Her dissertation is entitled "'Reverse of Fortune': The Invasion of Canada and the Coming of American Independence, 1774-1776."
