Pomeroy Foundation marker dedication ceremony honoring Francisco Xavier Sanchez, a Spanish Patriot who provided crucial aid to captured American prisoners held at Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine, Florida, during the Revolutionary War (1775-1783). This marker serves to permanently recognize Sanchez's courage and contribution to the American cause.
