DAR Headquarters, including the DAR Museum and DAR Library, will be closed to the public on Saturday, June 13 
due to street closures and access restrictions connected with an area event. Additionally, street traffic and parking 
in the area will be significantly restricted in the days leading up to and following the weekend events.

Description
The Mary Floyd Tallmadge Chapter, Inc. NSDAR will be holding graveside ceremonies to tell the stories of these two important patriots. Held in partnership with the Oliver Wolcott Senior Branch of the SAR and the First Litchfield Artillery, the ceremonies start at the Wolcott family gravesite and move to the Tallmadge gravesite. For individuals with sound sensitivities, please be aware this is a loud event with musket and cannon fire. The area around the sites is slightly hilly and the ground is uneven and this event is held rain or shine so dress accordingly!
