DAR Headquarters, including the DAR Museum and DAR Library, will be closed to the public on Saturday, June 13 
due to street closures and access restrictions connected with an area event. Additionally, street traffic and parking 
in the area will be significantly restricted in the days leading up to and following the weekend events.

Description
The Pioneer Chapter, NSDAR will again have a marching presence in Boise's annual 4th of July Parade which includes a day of celebratory events, including the Veteran Entrepreneurial Alliance (VEA) Community Breakfast, the Zamzows Patriotic Pet Parade, the Idaho America250 4th of July Parade, and, at dusk, the City of Boise Fireworks Celebration. The parade historically brings 10,000-15,000 spectators along the downtown parade route, and Pioneer Chapter will be marching with banners and buntings, the DAR America250! flag, the US flag, and will be handing small flags out to spectators along the parade route.

This event is free and the public is welcome.
