The Esther Lowrey Chapter, NSDAR is hosting an America 250! Celebration in Independence, Kansas, at the Independence Memorial Hall steps on July 4th 2026 at 10am. Free snacks, reading of the Declaration of Independence, patriotic songs, and honoring a Vietnam Veteran are some of the planned activities. This event is free and open to the public.
