Description
The Jacob Bennett Chapter, NSDAR, has been honored as the Grand Marshal of the Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce Independence Day Parade in Silver City, New Mexico. With America 250! at the heart of this year's celebration, chapter members will lead the parade dressed in colonial attire, carrying banners and American flags in tribute to the nation's founding.
Following the parade, the chapter will participate in the Patriotic Freedom Festival in Gough Park, where members will host a booth and engage with festival attendees. The annual Independence Day festivities provide an opportunity for the community to celebrate our nation's heritage while commemorating America's 250th anniversary. Events are free and open to the public.
