Liberty Education Plaza Phase I Dedication

Join the Illinois State Organization for the dedication of the Liberty Education Plaza on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at the Flag Day Monument in Batavia, Illinois. Serving as State Regent Marria Blinn's official project and Illinois DAR's America 250! Legacy Project, the Liberty Education Plaza honors the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States while creating a lasting outdoor educational space for future generations. The celebration will feature patriotic music, displays, children's activities, food options, and a community gathering focused on education, historic preservation and patriotism. This event is free and open to the public.
