Description
The Peter Foree Chapter, NSDAR, will dedicate Oldham County’s America 250! Liberty Tree on April 24, 2026, at 10:45 a.m. at the Oldham County Public Library. This commemorative event celebrates the enduring spirit of liberty and the nation’s founding as part of the Semiquincentennial.

A Tulip Poplar—Kentucky’s state tree—generously provided by the Kentucky Historical Society will be planted as a lasting symbol of freedom, echoing the historic Liberty Trees of the Revolutionary era. The ceremony will honor our Patriot ancestors and invite the community to reflect on the ideals of independence that continue to shape our nation.

The public is warmly invited to attend and take part in this meaningful tribute as we Illuminate Our Legacy and celebrate America 250!.
