The Yochim Gallery is a showcase of selections from the DAR Museum’s furniture and paintings collections. Portraits of early Americans hang near such items as a Rhode Island high chest, a New England settee/bed, and an eighteenth-century Philadelphia reverse curved sofa. At one end of this gallery a chair from Virginia's colonial Governor's Palace is exhibited.
