The following holidays and special days are established by the Executive Committee and are granted to the employees thus resulting in the closure of the NSDAR complex of buildings:
Specific holidays to be scheduled by Executive Ruling Employees are given a holiday the following Monday when the holiday falls on Sunday and the proceeding Friday when the holiday falls on Saturday.
Any decision to close down operations for weather will be made by the Administrator or someone acting for the Administrator. The policy of the NSDAR is to generally follow the lead of the US Government in the District of Columbia. For confirmation, call (202) 628-1776, and press 2 for emergency weather status. |
