Find out more about taverns and their role in daily life with Michele Longo, Curator of Education at Gadsby's Tavern. While Gadsby’s Tavern Museum was originally saved in part because of its connection to famous figures including George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette, as a community space it provides a window into daily life of early America and the city it served.
