This small exhibition features three cases of Presidential and First Ladies’ objects selected from the DAR Museum collection. Included are the Bellangé chair purchased for the Monroe White House; Dolly Madison’s earrings and comb; delicate glassware owned by Florence Harding; and a commemorative locket belonging to Jane Pierce. A separate case honors Caroline Scott Harrison, the DAR”s “own First Lady.” Curator’s Gallery Talks are scheduled for every Friday, 12-12:30. Reservations are requested and admission is free.
