This event is part of the day-long Beyond the Monuments-Neighborhood Walk Day sponsored by the DC Heritage Tourism Co-alition along with museums throughout Washington. History Hike begins at the White House Visitor's Center with a guided walk of President's Park and ends at the DAR Museum with children's crafts and games. Hear stories about the children who lived in the White House and dress up as a Colonial child. Play with historical toys and make your own doll. Times are 9 to 10:30 AM and 10:30 to 11:45 AM. Free.
