Public and private engagement is key to the success of a society. Women have continually found ways to overcome obstacles and contribute to their community. Recent changes to the Louisiana Period Room at the DAR Museum highlight some of the more notable contributions women made in the state's history. This talk, like the Louisiana Room, will feature some these remarkable contributions.
