Operatic and concert star Marian Anderson will be commemorated on a new United States postage stamp at a dedication ceremony co-hosted by the DAR and the U.S. Postal Service.

The first day of issue ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on January 27, 2005 at DAR Memorial Continental Hall, 17th & D Streets, Washington, DC.

The ceremony is free and open to the public.
