Historical Significance

Antelope Park is located at 23rd and "N' Streets to 33rd & Sheridan Boulevard in Lincoln, Nebraska, and has an assortment of attractions including the Sunken Gardens, Veterans Memorial Garden, Hamann Rose Garden and Strolling Garden, Ager Golf Course, Elks baseball field, facility rentals and the largest playground in the City.  An America 250! marker was placed by the Nebraska Society in April of 2023 in this park.  Also at this park is a memorial fountain placed by the Deborah Avery Chapter, NSDAR in 1914 in honor of chapter member Mary M.A. Stevens.  The fountain was repaired and relocated in the park.  A re-dedication ceremony was held in October 2022 by the Deborah Avery Chapter.
