In 2019, DAR will welcome our one millionth member to the National Society. DAR currently has 185,000 active members across the world, but we will soon surpass a total of one million members who have joined the Society since our founding in 1890. What a great opportunity to take a look back at these one million women over the past 129 years and to encourage new women to join us. DAR is a thriving women’s service organization that is active in local communities promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism. We invite women to share our passion and purpose as we continue our important DAR mission into the future. Are you one in a million?
