DAR Headquarters, including the DAR Museum and DAR Library, will be closed to the public on Saturday, June 13 
due to street closures and access restrictions connected with an area event. Additionally, street traffic and parking 
in the area will be significantly restricted in the days leading up to and following the weekend events.

Alexander Love is joining John McKnitt Alexander in our annual rededication of the Harris County World War 1 Cenotaph and the Urn John McKnitt Alexander placed on this Cenotaph for the Gold Star mothers to place their flowers in 1921. John McKnitt Alexander Chapter has rededicated this since the Urn was placed in 1921. We encourage all DAR, SAR, and C.A.R. members to attend. This event will take place at Connally Plaza, The Heritage Society, Sam Houston Park, 1100 Bagby Street, Houston, Texas 77002 to begin at 10:00am. Alexander Love is planning to give the Heritage Society an American 250! Flag to use throughout this year.
