Description
Join us for a thought-provoking program that broadens our understanding of the Revolutionary War and honors the diverse patriots who supported America’s struggle for independence.

Through the interactive game “Forgotten vs. Famous Patriots,” participants will explore often-overlooked stories from the American Revolution, highlighting the contributions of African American, Native American, and women patriots who fought, sacrificed, and helped shape our nation’s early history. The program also offers insight into the disparities in recognition and treatment between these individuals and their more widely known counterparts.

Players will compete to identify both famous and lesser-known patriots featured on game cards by asking only “yes” or “no” questions about each individual’s life. A reference guide with sample questions will be provided to assist participants as they work to uncover each patriot’s identity.

This engaging and educational program is presented by the Valley Forge Chapter, NSDAR, and is free and open to the public.
