Sharing the Spirit of America - Public Reading of the Declaration of Independence

The Iowa Society Daughters of the American Revolution will be hosting an America250! program and Public Reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Living History Farms outdoor museum. The "citizens" of the town of Walnut Hill will be summoned to the "meeting house" (The Church of the Land) at 2:50 p.m. for a program beginning at 3:00 p.m. The program will include reenactors reading the Declaration of Independence. There will also be a tribute to the 56 Signers. This event is free.
