DAR Headquarters, including the DAR Museum and DAR Library, will be closed to the public on Saturday, June 13 
due to street closures and access restrictions connected with an area event. Additionally, street traffic and parking 
in the area will be significantly restricted in the days leading up to and following the weekend events.

In celebration of America 250!, join acclaimed performer Audrey Johnson for “So Wondrous Free: A Musical Journey to the Declaration of Independence,” an inspiring patriotic program that brings America’s founding story to life through music, storytelling, and performance.

Presented through "Of Thee I Sing," this special event will feature performances alongside local children, creating a moving intergenerational tribute to the ideals of liberty, courage, and independence that shaped the nation. Through song and historical reflection, audiences will journey back to the pivotal moments surrounding the signing of the Declaration of Independence and celebrate the enduring spirit of freedom.

This America 250! event is proudly sponsored by the General de Lafayette Chapter, NSDAR, in partnership with Tippecanoe County America250! Indiana, VFW Post 1154, 40&8 Voiture 364, Navy Club Ship 12, American Legion Post 492, Auxiliary of Post 492, and the Indiana Veterans Home.

The public is invited to experience this memorable celebration of America’s founding and the voices that continue to carry its story forward. This event is free.
