Symposium attendees heard from top experts in the field of Spanish and American History at this free event. Throughout the lectures, in the Constitution Hall lobby, 16 other organizations, including the Museum of the American Revolution, the Gilder Lehrman Institute, PBS, and Mount Vernon, shared resources on their 250th celebrations and programming.
The Symposium was recorded and talks can be found below!
The symposium was presented by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), the Queen Sofía Spanish Institute (QSSI), and the Fundación Ramón Areces (FRA) with support from the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in the United States. This was the second symposium in QSSI’s America&Spain250 initiative and a cornerstone event of DAR’s America250 programming to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding.
