Description
During St. Bernard Parish’s annual Fourth of July celebration, a special dedication will take place for a new NSDAR America 250! Patriot Marker at Liberty Bell Plaza on the west side of the Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center in Chalmette, Louisiana. The ceremony will coincide with the traditional ringing of the Liberty Bell replica.
Presented by the St. Bernard Parish Tourist Commission, the St. Bernard Parish America 250 Commission, and the Francois deLery Chapter, NSDAR, the marker is dedicated to the people of St. Bernard Parish and the greater New Orleans metropolitan area in honor of the Patriots who helped found the nation.
This event is free and open to the public.
