Description
The Morning Star Chapter, NSDAR, will participate in the Community Independence Day Parade in Stuart, Nebraska, as part of the nationwide celebration of America's 250th Anniversary. Held on the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, this special event provides an opportunity to honor the patriots whose courage and sacrifice secured our nation's freedom.

Chapter members will ride on a patriotic float and distribute 250 American flags to parade attendees, along with candy for children. To highlight their personal connections to the American Revolution, Morning Star Daughters will wear commemorative T-shirts featuring the names of their Patriot ancestors and the states in which they served. The shirts will also display the America 250! logo.

Through this festive parade participation, the chapter will celebrate our nation's founding, honor the legacy of Revolutionary War Patriots, and encourage community members of all ages to reflect on the enduring ideals of liberty, independence, and service that continue to unite Americans today. This event is free.
