Historical Significance:

Collin County Commissioners Court in November 2017 authorized John F. Greer Chapter to place the War Memorial Monuments at the Constitution Wall Plaza on the property of Russell A. Steindam Courts Building. The Memorials "Honor All Who Served" during World War I, World War II, Korean War and the Vietnam War. These monuments were purchased with donations, each monument has been dedicated with formal commemorative ceremonies. Texas and South Central Division awarded 1st place, NSDAR Awarded 3rd place, for Best Lasting WWI Memorial/Commemorative Events in June 2019. Texas awarded 1st place, 75th Anniversary of D-Day 2019 with dedication of WWII and Korean War Memorial.
