Historical Significance:
The Janesville Woman's Club Association (JWCA) began in the early 1920s and joined the drive to raise funds for the Woman's Club Building. Over the next nearly 100 years since JWCA began, we have provided a wide variety of social activities to interest all ages and schedules. Underlying these social events is a mission to give back to local charities and support education through scholarships. Built in 1928, the building is listed on the Wisconsin State Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places. It is the home of four other organizations: Art League of Janesville, MacDowell Music Club, AAUW, and Janesville Chapter NSDAR.
