Please be aware that DAR Headquarters will be closed from Saturday, December 24, 2016 through Sunday, January 1, 2017. During this week of closure, the DAR Museum and DAR Library will not be open for public or member use and the DAR administrative offices will also be closed. DAR Headquarters will reopen on Monday, January 2, 2017.

During the time Headquarters is closed there will be no DAR employees available to answer phone calls or respond to email inquiries.

Please keep in mind the following when you are considering your year-end gifts to DAR, including gifts made to the NSDAR General Fund in order to qualify for recognition in the 1890 Annual Giving Circle for the class of 2016:

• ONLINE: You may make an online year-end gift to NSDAR any time through December 31st.  To make an online gift, please visit  http://www.dar.org/giving/support-program-your-choice
• PHONE: You may make a year-end gift or check your year-end giving levels over the phone by calling the Office of Development (800) 449-1776 no later than Friday, December 23 by 4:30pm EST. As many donors will be making year end gifts at the same time, please call PRIOR to Dec 23 to ensure that you complete your donation prior to the holiday.
• MAIL: Year-End donations sent through the mail must be postmarked no later than December 31 to qualify as a charitable deduction in 2016. Please mail all Year-End contributions directly to Headquarters at:
