Combined NSDAR and Basque Museum and Cultural Center Historic/Commemorative Marker commemorating DAR Member Adelia Garro Simplot for her passion, vision, and perseverance in preserving historic building and Basque culture on Grove Street in downtown Boise for the current generation and posterity.

Historical Significance:

This plot contains markers for 53 veterans of the Revolutionary War who have been determined to have died and been buried in Washington County Ohio but who's graves are not identified.  The plot is in the middle of Mound Cemetery in Marietta Ohio where many Revolutionary War soldiers are buried and the cemetery has other historic significance pertaining to Indians and community founders.
