Built about 1890 by Senator David H. Baker (1841-1917) who served in both the Kentucky and Florida State Senates. It is both maintained and substantially supported by the John Bartram Chapter, NSDAR including having one of our long term members on the Baker House board with no term limit. We spend a lot of time, cleaning, decorating, undecorating, reporting problems, attending meetings, and acting as docents. Funds are raised by events held there. More than 500 hours per year are put in by more than 15 DAR members.
Acknowledgements: Maintains and Cleans the house, Decorates the house, Undecorates the house, Reports problems, Provides Docents and Actors from our Chapter. Has our DAR member on the Board, Cheryl Curinga for an unlimited term.
