Update: July, 7, 2026
Member Notice: Internet Service Disruption
On the evening of Sunday, July 5, 2026, we became aware of a significant internet service disruption affecting our DAR Headquarters building.
We were informed that the outage was caused by an issue at a regional data center due to the weekend’s severe heat and storms, where a partial failure of the facility's cooling systems required servers to be taken offline until they can safely return to normal operating temperatures. As a result, NSDAR’s internet service and internet-based telephone system are unavailable onsite at DAR Headquarters and many of our online services for DAR members are currently unavailable.
Because this is an infrastructure issue outside of our control, we have not yet been provided with an estimated time for service restoration. Our team is actively monitoring the situation, staying in close communication with our service providers, and will share updates with members as soon as more information becomes available.
We understand how important these online systems are to our members and apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate your patience and understanding as the service providers work to restore operations safely and as quickly as possible.
