This cemetery is part of the Cherokee Heritage, Religious Heritage, Trail of Tears, Oldest trees in Hamilton County, and a big part of Chattanooga History.

Acknowledgements: The Brainerd Mission Cemetery is owned, operated, and maintained by the DAR Regent's Council of Chattanooga, Tennessee Society Daughters of the American Revolution is free and open to the pubic during daylight hours. There is a marker that also gives the history of the Mission and cemetery.
